I had your job once. I was good at it. Ridley Scott to Denis Villeneuve. Until the Oscar nominations, I had never heard of this movie. I wish a creature that I fell in love with, would pick me up and jump into the sea. Oh my gosh. That ending was beyond flawless, so perfect that it couldve ended at any shot, but kept going without it feeling overdrawn. Won 2 oscars, best cinematography and visual it Haters. It the wisper of a dream where word are lost to beeper meanings, where the soul recanizes the truth thats hiden deep within our being, as an od who cant spell and has few cancetions in this world, i felt at home and had my very oun part in this love story, Thank you Del Torro, as somehwere in you there must be an od ball to, Brovo <3.

Who else is here after watching Tesla Cybertruck. This movie made me cRy. Lovely movie. So, did I just see a micro-story of Gaff? I love Eddie! When the Blackout occurred, He was crashing in his Spinner? That's why he's in the Institution? Arguments have been made that Deckard is the 'persona-clone' of Gaff, cause he's broken and the BladeRunner Units needed agents to keep Terra clear of Reps! Ohh, soo good. Blade Runner 2049 has become one of my favorites of the last couple years. Masterpiece.

Good movie. Johnny's in the basement mixing up the medicine. Let's see some more of these set on the off world colonies. Lets see the C beams glitter in the dark... I would watch the shit out of this if this was a real anime series. Based on the PKD book- why leave out the element of Mercerism? That's one of the key elements of the book. I hope it's included. Also, maybe I'm naive but this trailer looks so evil and dark and twisted. There was a lot of elevated content in the book- why interpret it all as dark and evil? That whole Happy Birthday scene? Yuck.

This film was beautiful and engrossing. I haven't felt that kind of immersion in a film for so long. This movie was highly underrated. Blade Runner 2049, in short, takes place in the year 2049 (yep, it's true. Killing replicants is still a viable job and tasked with that duty now is a young stud named Officer K (Ryan Gosling. One stormy afternoon while minding his own business killing a minding-his-own-business replicant, K unearths a secret. A crime was committed 30-years-ago but the only evidence that's of any help is an old piece of carved wood and some numbers scratched on it. The suspect in the brutal crime may have been a replicant, and it's up to K to bring the skinner to justice the only way a good Blade Runner knows how: retirement. Enter old stud Blade Runner Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford) who disappeared 30-years-ago with the last known replicant ordered to be executed (let's call it what it is. Deckard knows how to hide - being hunted for decades will teach you a few things about that. It's K's hunch that Deckard may have a little insight into this mystery that's been slowly eating away at the young Blade Runner. Now he needs to find the old man before someone less friendly does.
Blade Runner 2049, IMHO, is a nice companion to the original 1982 masterpiece by Ridley Scott. I've pretty much said all I can without getting into spoilers, so I'll touch on the technical side. A movie like this requires strong, believable CGI. There must be attention to detail and it absolutely must look realistic - about as realistic as you can make fiction, I suppose. Blade Runner (1982) left us in awe with the special effects (winner of two Academy Awards in that category. We've sort of become accustomed to great CGI now, and, for the most part, we know what CGI is capable of, so it's pretty hard to blow us away. Thus, CGI heavy movies also need a good story and good acting to hold our attention. Blade Runner 2049 has most of that. Director Denis Villeneuve (how sick was Sicario, right? puts it all together and makes it sing beautifully, but not perfectly. It's too early to tell right now whether Blade Runner 2049 will become a classic like it's daddy; there will be plenty of nerds arguing about that - both for and against.
I just like watching movies; I'm a fan not a critic, and this movie is enjoyable to watch. One that I could probably see again without getting bored. Chances are, you'll feel the same way if you made it this far.

I love that line, no heaven or hell for us, this world is all we got Which makes them cherish life more than the average human being. This film was a masterpiece and that's coming from a huge cynic of Hollywood.

I feel like, I want to watch an entire series of it 😅

And funny thing is - the fact that this was a flop is a good thing. Othervise, we'd have a brand new franchise on our hands. And artistry would've left the building pretty fast. We'd have flying-car-chases and robot armies climbing the buildings and fighting on the airships and the airships crashing to the ground with robots fighting on them, etc.

Anyone get an Animatrix: The Second Renaissance Part 1 vibe from the first few minutes. Blade runner is so underrated but yet so amazing and unique it literally separates it self from big budget franchises that dont even listen to what real fans just wants impress blade runner is something else.
